The Pittsburgh Tomorrow Leadership Corps hosts a day of service along the North Shore
On October 18, regional high school leaders from 17 different schools gathered with dozens of other volunteers on Pittsburgh’s North Shore to help Beautify the Burgh. At this kick off to the Pittsburgh Tomorrow Leadership Corps 2025-2026 season, the young leaders participated in trail maintenance and litter pick up to benefit a regional initiative called The Immaculate Collection, which aims to get Pittsburgh ready for the 2026 NFL Draft and beyond. The group collected over 50 bags and 1000 pounds of trash.
The cleanup day was brought to life with support from our partners at Allegheny Cleanways and Friends of the Riverfront, and other youth leadership groups including The Pittsburgh Promise and The Boys’ and Girls’ Club of Southwestern Pennsylvania also showed their support with volunteers.
Hear more about the day in the video below, created by our Board Member Bill Flanagan.
