A MultifacEted dynamic strategist and grant consultant with a passion for community impact and sustainable innovation
Michelene Cain brings her thoughtful organization, results-driven approach to Pittsburgh Tomorrow’s initiatives.
Michelene grew up in Clinton, PA, just past the Pittsburgh Airport. She worked to receive her Associate’s Degree in Psychology from CCAC, then her Bachelor’s Degree from Argosy University of Chicago, and finally her MBA from Robert Morris University. After receiving her MBA, she gained over a decade of experience in nonprofit development, business operations, and client services.
Her career includes leadership in higher education, holistic health entrepreneurship, and technology consulting – each role underscoring her strengths in adaptability, systems thinking, and relationship building. She is supporting Pittsburgh Tomorrow with project coordination, fundraising strategy, and operational insight.

Michelene is involved in holistic health, even founding her own business, Alpha Sculpt, which is a wellness-focused business rooted in accessibility, transformation, and long-term client care through PEMF. PEMF stands for Pulse Electromagnetic Field, which can be used to stimulate natural healing processes in the body, but also for pets. She takes pride in the practice and does exceptional work in the PEMP space.

Outside of work, Michelene is active; she enjoys walking her dogs and hiking. She loves creative writing and spending time with her family in the greater Pittsburgh area. She is the Co-Founder of Beefuddled Farms and worked for 10 years as a 5th-generation beekeeper. Before that, she worked as a wedding event planner with her sister, called Katherine’s Daughters Events. Michelene is a versatile and upbeat breath of fresh air and we are excited to have her on the team!
“Pittsburgh Tomorrow’s commitment to cultivating leadership, revitalizing neighborhoods, and creating inclusive spaces aligns deeply with my own values. I saw an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a team that’s not only visionary but also actively doing the hard work to make Pittsburgh a more vibrant, equitable, and connected city.”
